Brats, Burgers and Buggy Rides!!

We had a Ward Social at the Beckstead's which was Western style. We had a hard time to find the address, it took us a long time to get there, during the many attempts to find it, Braiden fall asleep, when we finally made it, we had to get Braiden out of his car seat and he woke up really cranky, we were tempted to leave but we decided to stay. It was fun to enjoy the nice weather, the hay ride and the yummy food. We had a great time..

On our way home, lately Braiden "has to push the stroller",

he doesn't like to sit on it..

Julio told me that it wasn't a really good idea because it would be hard to get him off,
we put him on for a few seconds so I could take the picture
and sure enough Julio was right, it was a difficult task to get him down..

Toy Story 3

I had been thinking of how Braiden would do if we were to take him to the movies so, today his dad and uncle went on their guys night out to play racquetball so, we had our girls night out and we decided to take Braiden to watch Toy Story 3, it was the perfect setting, I was going with my sister in-law and niece to the cheap theater so, if he wouldn't do good, we could leave and no problem, we didn't spend so much money. Well, I got to say that I was impressed how well behaved Braiden was, he lasted the whole movie (with the help of popcorn and candy) and he was actually interested in what was going on (the colors, the sound, etc) and he was actually dancing at the end with You've got a friend in me.. It was such a fun and exciting first time at the movies with Braiden, we will do it again along with Daddy.

After work we went to the park to take advantage of my early schedule and the last days of nice weather. We went as a family, the 4 of us and had such a great time..

FHE @ Chuck E Cheese's

We went to Chuck E Cheese's for our Family Home Evening activity and also to celebrate the first day of my new early and awesome work schedule (6:55am to 3:20pm). Julio had already taken Braiden there once before but it was around February and he wasn't completely ready. We had dinner there and then Braiden had lots of fun experimenting with all the machines and games there. Even though it doesn't look like by the pictures, I was there but, of course taking the pictures for my blog..

Babies R US

We went to Babies R US to get an umbrella stroller for Braiden, we were under the impression it would be a quick in & out trip, however, once there, Braiden was fascinated by everything, he wanted to look at all the toys but, he did help us choose the umbrella we needed. He also gave us an idea of what to get him soon, a tricycle, he just loved it, he want back to it so many times. He is not quite ready for a tricycle but, I think pretty soon he will be able to pedal by himself. That might be one of the things that would be waiting for Braiden under the Christmas tree, we should see!!

I had so much fun observing how our big boy loves to explore his world..

This was actually really funny, Julio was checking out the kids sons, then he found jingle bells, immediately after Braiden heard it, he was dancing, Julio kept on playing it to see if I could get a good picture of Braiden dancing but I couldn't so, next Braiden wanted to do it himself.
