Goodbye Grandma Pat

During lunch, we went to Costa Vida to say goodbye to Grandma Pat (Danni's mom). She was here in Colorado for about 3 weeks, Carol and I are so grateful that we were able to meet her and get to spend some time with her, she is a really nice and sweet person so, we wanted to see her again before she went home. We are hoping to see her again soon, maybe in Colorado or Alaska.

We love you Grandma Pat :)

Thanks Lola for the very cute picture!!

Cute smiles..

Denver Zoo

We decided that our family activity for the month of November would be to go to the Zoo. It was a free day and it was a Saturday (that was exciting since normally the majority of free days are during the week which we cannot attend) and it would be Braiden's first time there, we thought we would be ready to enjoy the visit. We followed Jill's advice, we got to the zoo about 9:30am (before they open) and it was very nice because we were able to find a parking space immediately (thanks for the tip Jill). We didn't get off the car until almost time for them to open, we got in line and the line moved pretty fast. Once inside, we had Braiden very cozy in his stroller then, we noticed he was not able to see much so, we opted for taking him of the stroller so he could walk and see everything. That didn't work as we wished, instead of being interested in the animals, he was too concentrated in pushing his stroller (at that point we wish we hadn't taken it with us) so Julio went back to the car and left it there. That was the solution to the problem, Braiden started to walk pulled by his monkey leash and to observe everything around him. The weather wasn't as bad and there wasn't that much people (I guess because we were there first thing in the morning). It was a really nice family time, we really enjoyed it.

As we were looking for the exit, I thought that background
would make a cool looking picture.

Remembering the pioneers!!

Family Time

We spent the day with the family and went to several places. First we went to pick up Alan (nephew), we went to lunch - he decided that he wanted Panda Express. After we had lunch, we went to Walmart to he could pick his birthday present (my brother in-law lives out of state so he asked us to take him to the store to pick his present), first he had said he wanted a video game, then while at the store he was trying to make up his mind, he wanted the video game, he wanted a bike and a pump and he also wanted a case for his bb gun. After some time, he decided that he wanted to take the bike instead, so we were walking around Walmart trying to help him make a good choice. He had a good time, Braiden enjoyed spending time with his cousin. After we were done, we went to take him back home and we headed to my sister's in-law to get together with the rest of the family. It was a great family day..
