Fun City

For our Saturday activity, we got together as a family, we went to dinner and then we went to play mini golf. We went to Fun City which is very close to my sister's in-law house, we had never taken Braiden to play mini golf and we were up for the experience, he actually did pretty good and had a fun and slow mini golf game.

Even though I'm not in any of the pictures, I was there, I was their photographer.

We will definitively take Braiden for some mini golf again, we would probably try a different place.

It was a fun family activity!!

Continuation

We were invited to attend the Continuation of our niece Andrea and our nephew Frankie, they are going from Elementary to Junior High so, after work we headed to Littleton to attend their ceremony. It was a good ceremony but it was very hot inside, the good thing was that we got there few minutes before the even started (one of the few times we were on time) so we were able to have a seat. After the ceremony, we went to Dora's house for dinner, we had tacos and a great conversation.

Congratulations Andrea & Frankie, we hope to be there to support you on your next graduation!!

Ladies overnight

We had a ladies overnight, we stayed at the Residence Inn Marriott in Englewood, it was a wonderful and fun time. It was my first time having an overnight with friends. Danni and I got to the hotel late, Carol, Rhisa and Riley had been there for a while. Once we got there our fun night begun, we ate (we had several different kinds of potato chips and dips, chocolate covered strawberries, candy bars and cheesecake), played board games, listened to music, had a beautifying session with manicures, pedicures and mud masks, we also chatted and chatted until about 4am, it was a great opportunity to get to know each other better and learn more about each one of us. We slept for few hours and then we got up to go to breakfast, then after breakfast we went back to our room and played few more rounds of the board game then next thing we knew it was time to go back home.

Thanks ladies for the wonderful time we spent together and thanks to our great husbands for allowing us to have some time for our selves!!

Totally concentrated playing Bananagrams!!

You've Got a Friend In Me

Toy Story 3 is Braiden's favorite movie (however, he calls it Woody), it is the first movie he has seen at the Movie Theater and his uncle and aunt gave it to him so, he can see it over and over again, if it is was up to him he could watch it all day long. At night time he will sing the Woody son, he will say got friend in me got friend in me. The other day we were at Walmart and in the clearance section, we saw Woody, it was a two piece set, Woody and a blanket so, we got it for Braiden and he has loved it. Here you can see how the two buddies love each other!!

Our first 7 years!!

Today we celebrated our first 7 years of being together. We were planning on spending the whole day together and do fun things like, going to the temple, going to the movies and going to lunch, but we ended up not being able to do all these things since Julio had to go to work but, we were able to spend some time together on a week day which is rarely for us. We had lunch at Las 3 Margaritas then we went to the store and on our way back to pick up Braiden we had dinner with the Leon family, it was definitively a happy day!

Throughout these years we have done a lot of things and we have had wonderful experiences but the most important ones are the following:

1) We got married
2) I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and
Julio came back after years of inactivity
3) We had the opportunity of attending General Conference a month after I got baptized
4) We became parents of our wonderful and sweet son Braiden Jared (naming him after the missionaries that baptized me and confirmed me)
4) We got sealed for time and eternity when Braiden was only 3 months old
5) We have made great friends in the ward
6) We were able to attend the Sealing of Elder Heaps (missionary that baptized me)
7) We have witnessed the baptism of two nieces, two nephews and my mother in-law

We are looking forward to the experiences we will have in the years to come!!

A fun birthday party!!

My manager invited us over to her son's birthday party, there was plenty of delicious food (for both adults and kids) and lots of fun, she loves to have a jumper for all the kids. Last year we took Braiden but he was only a year old and he was not really ready for this kind of parties. Today he definitively had a blast, he was jumping along with all the older kids. It is great to see how much he has grown and how he is able to experience more things and have lots of fun like a big boy.
