Braiden's birthday was on the 6th, however, since it was a Sunday, we waited two weeks because the Clubhouse were we had it was not available the weekend right after his birthday. Everything worked out as plan, for lunch we had Carnitas, Frijoles Charros, Rice and Nachos. We ordered the food from a place La Pradera in Commerce City, it was kind of a long drive but it was definitively worth it, the food was great and it was a lot of it. Great value for the money..
As it has become a tradition, the cake was made by Claudia & the girls.
We even had a photographer, my dear friend Tim and his wife are enjoy photography as their hobby so, when I asked him how much he would charge me to shot Braiden's party, he said nothing, he would be honored that I asked him to do so.
We had a great time with family and friends and Braiden really had a blast, he was actually able to enjoy his party this year. He received a lot of gifts, clothes, toys and even books.
Thanks to everybody that contributed with this special occasion (Rebeca & Gloria - for letting us use the Clubhouse, Claudia & the girls for making the amazing cake, Tim & Kristen for shooting the party, Maricela for referring us to La Pradera and daddy for going to get the food and many other things needed for the special event)
Julio said after this party we will take a break, starting next year we will make something simple, we will go to Chuck E Cheese's or something of that nature for Braiden's birthday, we won't celebrate big until he turns 8 and get baptized, we should see..
