Braiden the Explorer

I went to pick up Braiden after work and I found him outside enjoying the great weather. He totally loves the outdoors, he really enjoys playing with some sticks and rocks. He feels like he doesn't need much help anymore. He is definitively an active boy.

Parker Station Kid's Maze

Few days ago when we drove by, we noticed the Corn Maze and the cool Halloween decorations at the Parker Station so I thought it would be a good idea to take Braiden to see how he would like it so, today after I left work, I realized the weather was really nice and when I went to pick up Braiden, I decided that we should go to the Corn Maze. When we got there, he was really afraid of all the decorations and he did not know what to do at the maze so, he wouldn't leave my side, then I showed him what to do and he actually liked it so, here are the pictures that I took of Braiden's first corn maze experience!

Braiden @ 19 months old!!

We had to run some errands including going to Home Depot and Target. We were reminded that Christmas is two months away, they have so many decorations that it is scary. While at Target we celebrated Braiden's 19 months by eating nachos and he sure loved them..

If you don't get the cheese all over your face while eating nachos,

you don't enjoy them...

Sticky fingers is the result of eating nachos..

Brats, Burgers and Buggy Rides!!

We had a Ward Social at the Beckstead's which was Western style. We had a hard time to find the address, it took us a long time to get there, during the many attempts to find it, Braiden fall asleep, when we finally made it, we had to get Braiden out of his car seat and he woke up really cranky, we were tempted to leave but we decided to stay. It was fun to enjoy the nice weather, the hay ride and the yummy food. We had a great time..

On our way home, lately Braiden "has to push the stroller",

he doesn't like to sit on it..

Julio told me that it wasn't a really good idea because it would be hard to get him off,
we put him on for a few seconds so I could take the picture
and sure enough Julio was right, it was a difficult task to get him down..

Toy Story 3

I had been thinking of how Braiden would do if we were to take him to the movies so, today his dad and uncle went on their guys night out to play racquetball so, we had our girls night out and we decided to take Braiden to watch Toy Story 3, it was the perfect setting, I was going with my sister in-law and niece to the cheap theater so, if he wouldn't do good, we could leave and no problem, we didn't spend so much money. Well, I got to say that I was impressed how well behaved Braiden was, he lasted the whole movie (with the help of popcorn and candy) and he was actually interested in what was going on (the colors, the sound, etc) and he was actually dancing at the end with You've got a friend in me.. It was such a fun and exciting first time at the movies with Braiden, we will do it again along with Daddy.

After work we went to the park to take advantage of my early schedule and the last days of nice weather. We went as a family, the 4 of us and had such a great time..
