Daddy making Braiden's name...

~~ Just like daddy Braiden ~~

I saw this quote and I loved it, that's why I had
to include it in my blog, I definitively agree :)

Wow, look at me, I'm standing up, this is fun!!

A very interesting tree..

Tunnels are fun ...

Julio & Braiden posing for the camera!!

Not sure what Braiden was looking at but,
obviously not the camera :(

Yay, Braiden was able to reach, good job baby!

Oh wow, totally impressed..

We realized that Braiden is getting big, that it is probably time for us to start doing more fun activities with him that will allow us to spend more time together as a family, therefore, on Saturday January 30th, we took him to the Children's Museum for the very first time, we all had a blast and noticed how much he enjoyed being around new people and exploring new places. We just wished it would have been on a week day because there was a lot of people so, hopefully soon we are able to plan a second visit to the museum during a week day.

The Beginning

For the past few months, I have been reading our friend's blogs and wanted to create our own but, for one reason or another, procrastination, no time, no idea of how to create one and not putting the time and effort to read instructions I never did until now, I'm really excited to keep up with the blog to share our lives with family and friends.

Remember, I'm new at this so be patient, I'm not good at it and will not be super creative but, it's work in progress..

Visiting Colorado

My dad came to see us, it was his first time visiting Colorado. I tried to take off us much time as possible from work to be with him, we did as much as we could and we visited as many places as possible. He was here 10 days, his visit ended suddendly as he was notified his brother was very sick so he had to leave. It was very exciting to have him here but by the end of his visit I was exhausted, I was pregnant, we were always on the go and to make things worst, Curly did not stop barking the whole time he was here. We will be waiting for him to come see us again and enjoy his grandson.

He was very impressed that it was August and
there was a lot of snow on the mountains.

Not that I love Casa Bonita's food but I do believe is a must go
when you have friends or family visiting Colorado.

Having so much fun..

We went for a walk to Park Meadows Mall

My baptism!!

I never knew anything about the church until I met my husband and his sister Dora. They talked to me about the church for four years but I was very stubborn and did not want anything to do with the church, I remember telling them that I would never join the church, I will never get baptized. Even when I finally opened the door to the missionaries, I told them that if they wanted to waste their time with me they were more than welcome to come in. Thanks to the patience, persistence and love from Elders Heaps and Elder Parker, I decided to be humble and get on my knees to pray and get an answer about baptism, when I got an answer and confirmation that it was the right thing to do, I emailed Elder Heaps (who had been transferred to a different area) and told him I wanted him to baptize me, he said he would do everything in his power to get permission from his mission leader to come back and baptize me, I'm so grateful that he got permission to come and baptize. I was a little nervous when I was ready to be baptize and he wasn't there, good thing he showed up immediately after and I was baptized as a member of the church.

Denver Nuggets Game!!

A co-worker told me she was given 4 suite tickets for the Nuggets game by one of the Property vendors (I think she likes me because she is a Packers fan as well) and she was only going to use two of them, she asked me if I wanted the other two so I could go watch the game with my husband, I responded I will gladly take them. It was a great first experience, it was perfect setting with food included. We really enjoyed the game.
